Remote I/O Control Panel (RIO)
General
The Remote I/O Control Panel (RIO) is used to place I/O modules close to the field devices in order to eliminate long lengths of multi-conductor cable, and for ease of troubleshooting. With Remote I/O, signals can be received from far away sensors and control signals can be sent long distances to control valves, motors, and other final actuators.
The Remote I/O panel is located outside the fencing near the conveyor at Station 50.
