Buffer Racks
The Buffer Racks are designed to hold finished parts as a buffer so that if the other Cells downstream are shutdown, product can continue at this Cell.
Major Components
The Buffer Racks features the following internal components.

| A | Laser Sensor | Detects for Rack and Part Presents in the Rack. |
| B | Locating Pin | Locates the fixture properly to the buffer rack when it is in the station. |
| C | Light Screen | Detects when personnel or equipment enter or exit the fixture for safety reason, which may cause an Emergency Stop condition if personnel are not allowed in the station at the specific time (such as when the robot is entering the station). |
