Pedestal Sealer Stand
General
The Pedestal Sealer Stand receives sealant from the ABB Sealant System, and drops beads of sealant onto the part for part marriage. The material handling robot brings the part to the fixture and rotates the part as the fixture disperses sealant along the part. The sealant equipment receives lubrication from an automated system attached to the fixture.

Major Components
The Pedestal Sealer Stand features the following components.

| A | Doser Valve | Controls the flow and precision of the sealant substance being placed on the current part. |
| B | Pressure Sensor | Detects the current pressure of sealant substance being pushed through the doser valve. |
| C | Inductive Sensor | Detects the position of the sealer equipment during operations. It works on the principle of electromagnetic induction. When a metal object is brought near the sensor, it disturbs the electromagnetic field produced by the sensor, which in turn causes a change in the sensor&s output signal. |
| D | Quiss Sensors | Captures 3D profile of the bead for precise thickness and shape verification. |
| E | Pneumatic Cylinder | Pneumatically tilts the sealant unit for positioning. |
| F | Oil Filter | Removes unwanted materials from the oil going to the sealant system. |
| G | On/Off Switch | Turns the oil pump On or Off. |
| H | Oil Pump | Pumps the oil from the tank through the oil filter to the sealant system. |
