Unified Lift Assist
General
The Unified Lift Assist on the 2V12 Rear Wall Header & Door Ring RH Cell is used to assist the operator to load and unload heavy and awkward parts from and to the Geo Fixture.
Major Components
The Unified Lift Assist feature the following components.

| A | Operator Controls | Used by the operator to control the lift assist as parts are being lifted and lowered. |
| B | Air Cylinder | Controlled by the operator through the controls, these air cylinders are used to create the force needed to properly maneuver the lift assist throughout the station. |
| C | Regulator | Used to adjust the air pressure associated with the air cylinder or clamp that it is connected to. If the air pressure is too low, the cylinders may not full extend or retract, or the part may not be clamped tightly, which could cause the part to fall out of the lift assist. |
| D | Tunkers Clamp | Secures the parts into the lift assist for movement. Each clamp consists of an air cylinder, proximity switches, and part touching details such as fingers that properly locate the part into position. |
| E | Swivel Level Arm | Pneumatic device used to pick up and position assembly parts. The swivel and leveling capabilities of the Swivel Level Arm allow it to reach and position parts from a variety of angles and ensure that they are always positioned correctly. The Swivel Level Arm is used to place the assembly parts in their final position on the lift assist. |
| F | Rough Locators | To ensure parts are properly loaded onto the lift assist, the Rough Locators provide a way operator to align and place the parts. They are neoprene to handle slight bumps without damaging the part but are hard enough to help align the part. |
| G | Shock Absorber | Dampen the impact of the load when the part is placed on the lift assist. This helps to protect the lift assist and the load from damage. |
