Geo Fixtures
General
There are Geo Fixtures mounted on top of ABB Flex Lean Conveyors at Station 010 (2V05=V01GL1) and 20 (2V05=V01GL2). There is also one (1) Geo Fixtures located at Station 040. The Geo Fixtures perform the holding of parts during robot pick, place, and securing parts while robot(s) perform the required welding operations. To secure the parts during operation, the Geo Fixture features multiple clamps that grip and secure the part, preventing any movement from occurring.
The operator installs the parts on the Geo Fixture and then the part is moved on the slide back to the spot welding robots on the other side of the conveyor.
Major Components
The Geo Fixtures features the following components.

| A | Shot Pins | The Shot Pins on the Geo Fixtures allow for accurate location and placement of parts. When the operator presses the runbar the shot pins extend into locating holes to lock the part in position. |
| B | Clamps | The Tunkers clamps actuate via pneumatic cylinder and secures the part into position while welding Operations are preformed. |
| C | Locating Pins | The Locating Pins on the Geo Fixture allow for the accurate and controlled placement of the parts. When the operator loads the part onto the Geo Fixture, the part must have each locating pin inserted into the locating hole. |
Location
The Geo Fixtures are located on the ABB Flex Lean Conveyor and are denoted in blue on the right side of the screen.
