Geo Fixtures
General
Geo Fixtures perform the holding of parts during robot pick and place operations, as well as clamping and securing the part while the robot(s) perform the required welding operations. These fixtures can be simple, or complex based on the station's parts to be processed. The Geo Fixtures can be found mounted on top of turntables or standalone inside of the cell.
The Geo Fixturess are located on the Turntable at Station 010 and the Trunnion at Station 030.
Major Components
The Geo Fixtures features the following components.

| A | Clamps | The Tunkers clamps actuate via pneumatic cylinder and secures the part into position while welding operations are preformed. |
| B | Locating Pins | The Locating Pins on the Geo Fixture allow for the accurate and controlled placement of the parts. When the operator loads the part onto the Geo Fixture, the part must have each locating pin inserted into the locating hole. |
| C | Inductive Sensor | Detects the presence or absence of metal objects without making physical contact with them. It works on the principle of electromagnetic induction. When a metal object is brought near the sensor, it disturbs the electromagnetic field produced by the sensor, which in turn causes a change in the sensor output signal. |
