Main Operator Panel (MOP)
General
The Main Operator Panel (MOP) is the primary operator interface for controlling the equipment within the 2V11 Bodyside Sub Cell.
From the MOP, personnel can start the cell in Automatic Mode of Operation, Reset Faults, place the station into Manual Mode, place the equipment into the Working position, or return the equipment to the Home position.
On the top of the MOP, there is a stack light that indicates and informs personnel if a fault has occurred (red lamp), or if the cell is currently running in Automatic Mode of Operation (green lamp).

Major Components
The Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is designed to act, communicate, and control the equipment used throughout the 2V11 Bodyside Sub Cell. The PLC is housed in an enclosure underneath the Main Operator Panel (MOP). On the right side of the screen, there is a break-down of each component used within the MOP enclosure.
The PLC features a Siemens 6ES7515-2FM02-0AB0 CPU Module, 6E7131-6BH01-0BA0 Input Modules, and 6ES7136-6BA01-0CA0 Electronic module. To perform the sequences, the PLC first takes the input data from sensors and other devices and uses the Central Processing Unit (CPU) module to apply logic to data being transmitted. After scanning and applying the required logic to the inputs, the CPU module then executes the user-created program logic and instructs the operations to be performed.
The PLC receives 24VDC power that is wired above the Main Electrical Disconnect Switch. If the Main Electrical Disconnect switch is placed into the Off position, the PLC will continue to run.
